Audience: 10 students of the Glion Institute of Higher Education (age 18 – 25)
The Glion Institute of Higher Education invited Dr Magdalena Neuhauser – who works at Andritz Hydro and is a member of the CaFE project consortium – to give a lecture on the production of electricity and on hydraulic turbines. Dr Neuhauser presented the CaFE project to the students and focused on the “Challenges in hydropower”. The multinational audience participated actively in the activity. They were interested in learning more about the challenges linked to global and local trends in electricity generation and they discussed at length the hydropower plants in their respective home countries: Turkey, Germany, China, Italy, Sweden, Czech Republic and France.
